Phonegap HTML5 Project Structure

During my first phonegap project i was very confused with what project structure to follow. Since Phonegap is a HTML5 app, all files needs to be .html only, so i was confused a lot of weather to use a single HTML file structure or multiple HTML files. Below in the blog post i will share my experience

Single HTML File

This make a lot of sense to use, because in multiple html files, will have lot of issues like passing variables, copy pasting header/footer multiple times in different files. But the problem with single html file is if we start to code our app in a single html file, the code will become very long and un manageable very soon.

Setting the Default Currency for a User in Magento
This won’t alter the base price in the system but it will set the start price for a user. Simply add this to the top of /template/directory/currency.phtml

$currentCurrency = $this->getCurrentCurrencyCode();

if(!isset($currentCurrency)) $currentCurrency = ‘NA’;

$currencies = array(“GBP”,”USD”,”EUR”);

if(isset($_GET['cy']))
{
if (in_array(strtoupper($_GET['cy']),$currencies)) {
if(strtoupper($_GET['cy']) != $currentCurrency)

Magento : How add translation ability into cms page or static block ?

As we all know magento have multi-language store. Magento use following syntax in .pthml to make text translate to multi-language which is like this :

    <?php   echo $this->__('text to translate'); ?>

OR

    <?php   echo Mage::helper('ModuleName')->__('text to translate');  ?>

But text written in cms page or static block have not translation ability.
To make cms page or static block text compatible with translation ability we need to do some extra coding work which is like this:

We can use following directive in cms page or static block

{{translate text="text to translate"}}

To make it working in cms page or static block we need to add directive function in magneto code as show in following steps.
