    If you are amongst those Magento store owners who never look into access_log still notice that your Magento store is slow then there is serious rethinking to do. Internet is flooded with variety of bad bots who typically steal your bandwidth and make huge number of requests to your server. Your server starts serving the requests from bad bot and in return becomes very slow to genuine visitors/customers. You might say that i have perfect robots.txt file in place which is allowing only legitimate Magento directories to be crawled. You might have setup Crawl-delay properly so you are safe. Well, like is said you have some rethinking to do.

Unfortunately, in some events when you update your products you are required to re-run the Magento indexer so new changes are reflecting in Magento’s index, and become visible on your store’s frontend.

    Hi everyone, as we all know, Magento supports a large number of products. That’s great! But it is also causing problem for people who wants to export / import products. I will try to show you a way which use Magento functionality to export and import product. In this article, let’s start with how to export Magento product.

    This tutorial is written based on Magento 1.4 but it should be similar for other Magento versions.

    In admin panel, go to System > Import/Export > Profiles
